Dextrins and adhesives
The beginnings of the production of adhesives in the company Helios date back to the year 1934, when in Domžale the factory for the production of starch and dextrin was built. As the logical consequence of the mentioned production some years after the production of starch and dextrin adhesives in dry and liquid form was set up. Gradually this activity developed and extended in view of the market needs still on casein and dispersion adhesives.
Long year experience, current development of new products in connection with the users of adhesives and producers of machines, as well as quality service brought us the reputation of a reliable business partner. The sales programme of adhesives comprises adhesives in dry form and the so called "ready to be used" adhesives on water basis, which are above all intended for industrial use.
The production and sales programme is divided into:
- Starch adhesives;
- Casein adhesives;
- Dextrin adhesives;
- Synthetic adhesives;
- Hot melt adhesives.
The areas of applications of our adhesives comprise a wide selection of purposes:
- labelling of glass, plastic and metal packaging in industry of drinks and other food and pharmaceutical industry;
- production of corrugated cardboard;
- production of cardboard cases;
- bonding and sticking of paper and cardboard;
- gumming of sticking tapes;
- production and gumming of envelopes;
- sticking at the manufacture of paper bags and bags;
- sticking of 'jumbo' placards;
- manufacture and packing of cigarettes;
- sticking of wall papers.
Starches and modified starches
Starches and starch modificates are produced in Helios, Kemična tovarna Domžale, which prides with a long tradition. The beginnings date back into the year 1934, when in the frame of the current factory for production of dry paints, the factory for production of starch and dextrine was built. The activity was developed further and in view of market needs extended to modified starches. The long-term experience,current development of new products, adjustment to new technological proceduress, markets, buyers and quality service brought us the reputation of a reliable partner.
